Black History Month
As we approach the end of Black History Month, we invite our online community to continue the year-round work of dismantling anti-Black racism in immigration advocacy through education and intentional conversations. In this post we highlight the disproportionate level of violence that Black migrants face in the U.S. immigration detention system as it directly ties to our work as a bond fund that services individuals in detention. Thank you Black Alliance for Just Immigration, Black LGBTQ Migrant Project - BLMP, UndocuBlack Network, and Freedom for Immigrants for your leadership and work that was put into the report we highlighted above. We encourage all to take time to read the report linked in our bio to learn about the cruel and inhumane impacts of immigration detention on Black migrants.
