Giving Tuesday!

We are happy to report that as of August 22, 2022, we are a federally recognized 501(c)(3) organization! We first launched as a revolving community bond fund in February 2021, and we became an Illinois nonprofit five months later. Today, we make up 14 volunteer board members and bond fund ambassadors who work in the Midwest to secure the release of folks from ICE custody.

This Giving Tuesday, please consider donating to the Midwest Immigration Bond Fund to help free our neighbors and get them back with their families. Your donation directly pays bonds for individuals who cannot afford them and supports a world without cages.

Estamos felices de reportar que desde agosto 22, 2022, somos una organización reconocida federalmente como 501(c)(3)! 

Primero nos lanzamos como un fondo de finanzas rotativo de comunidad en Febrero de 2021, y nos volvimos una organización sin fines de lucro en Illinois cinco meses después. Ahora, somos 16 miembros de consejo voluntarios y embajadores de fondo de Fianzas que trabajan en el medio oeste para asegurar la liberación de personas de la detención de ICE.
