Profits go DIRECTLY toward bond payments to free folks in ICE custody who cannot afford their bond. These bond payments are usually between $2,000 and $10,000. The minimum bond set by ICE or an immigration judge is $1,500, and there is no maximum.

About the Midwest Immigration Bond Fund:
The Midwest Immigration Bond Fund (MIBF) is a revolving fund that posts monetary bonds for folks in ICE custody who cannot afford to pay them. We represent all 4 of the states under the jurisdiction of the Chicago Immigration Court: Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and Wisconsin.
Since launching in February 2021, we’ve paid 30 bonds to free individuals from immigration detention. We became a federally recognized 501(c)(3) organization on August 22, 2022. Check out our website to learn more and support our work!
